Yves Rocher Luminelle Sheer Foundation: Beige soleil (No. 56)

Yves Rocher is a French cosmetics and beauty company based in La Gacilly, France, known for its extensive use of botanicals in its products.

This is a sheer foundation with a creamy texture and comes in 3 shades, Beige rosé, Beige naturel and Beige soleil (pictured). However, the names have changed slightly, depending where you are.

According to Yves Rocher, the product is enriched with orange water, providing moisturization.

First off, I would say that this foundation goes towards the direction of a tinted moiusturiser so I feel it's not for people who want a lot of coverage from their foundation. It is called a sheer foundation so it is as the name says.
For me, this foundation is more for evening out the skin tone without covering up your skin.

This was the first foundation I found here in Switzerland that was the closest to my skin tone and since finding it over 3 years ago, it has become a constant in my makeup collection. So if you're someone in my skintone that has struggled to find a foundation that is close to your skin tone here in Europe, especially in Switzerland, then you may want to try this one.

What I like about this foundation is the sheerness. Some people won't like it for that reason because, as I mentioned, it won't offer too much coverage. But if you're like me, and not looking for that much coverage but just to even out your complexion then this foundation does the job. The sheerness allows my skin to still show through.

The product is very blendable, more like a lotion and has a slight scent. This is one of those foundations that you can quickly apply all over your face with your hands and go, unlike thicker formulas where you really have to blend everything into your skin for eveness.

I find that it also makes my skin feel good when it's on. It may be because of the orange water, which the company claims provides moisture. Whatever it is, I find my skin feels good and smooth with this product on and I have had no reaction at all to the product.

The only other con for me is that you have to be careful about what other face products you have on before applying this on top because I've found that this may affect the blendability of the product.
To get the best application out of this product, I suggest using a primer underneath.

Overall, I really like this product. As I said, I always have it in my collection and will continue to repurchase it. This product gets a 8/10 for me.
